Raised by parents originally from the Philippines, whom affectionately nicknamed her ‘Mahal’ (in Tagalog this mainly translates to ‘Love’), she grew up next to the ocean where she found her Voice and developed a love of travel. During the pandemic of 2020, she became a Business Owner and Entrepreneur of Mahal Unlimited. Mahal Unlimited was birthed with an Intention to house her creative projects, to spread the message of Love and to help in serving the Community. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Coalition for Family Harmony.
‘It’s with our actions, not words, that can reveal the true nature of a person’s character. To truly empower someone is to first empower oneself. Every day is an opportunity to not just show Mahal/Love, but to embrace and embody it.’ - Athena Arcayan
